Ruchottes-Chambertin is a grand cru appellation in France, covering 3.3 ha in Gevrey-Chambertin. The rules allow red wine, based on Pinot Noir. Regional bedrock: carbonate sedimentary rocks. It lies 8.7 km south-west of Chenôve and 11 km south-west of Dijon.
One of the smallest grands crus of Gevrey, high on the slope above Mazis. Thin, stony soils over limestone give a taut, mineral style.
