Romanée-Saint-Vivant is a grand cru appellation in France, covering 9.4 ha in Vosne-Romanee. The rules allow red wine, based on Pinot Noir. Regional bedrock: mixed sedimentary rocks. It lies 2.9 km north of Nuits-Saint-Georges and 17 km south-west of Dijon.
Grand cru below Romanée-Conti, named after the monks of the priory of Saint-Vivant. Deeper soils give a more floral, ethereal style than its neighbours.
